Day 5: Wajima to Suzu

Ideal weather with a high in the low 70s.  The Noto Peninsula is a beautiful area with low traffic, stunning ocean vistas and enchanting small villages.  Enjoy the pictures along the route today including two elderly ladies bicycling in one of the villages.  I close with a few pictures of our accommodations in Suza and public hot spring onsen.  Enjoy a virtual tour of day 5 on the Samurai Epic.

Beautiful vista along the route after a long climb.

Crossed the 6,000 mile mark for 2019 today with Toyama Bay in the background.

The first significant climb of the day. 10% grade most of the way up the hill.

The next three photos are along the Toyama Bay.  Our route follows the coast most of the way around the peninsula.

Dinner preparations for the rider group.

Public hot spring onsen where hotel guests bathe.

That's all for today.  Tomorrow we cycle 57 miles to Wakura.
