Today was a rainy day so I just powered through the ride and did not take pictures. Following the ride we boarded a train from Uwajima to Imabari where we will spend the evening at the beautiful Imabari Kokusai Hotel.
Here is our 61 mile route tomorrow for the Shimanami Kaido. Should be a great day and finale for the 2019 Japan Samurai Epic!!
The focus of this blog will be twofold. First, I will share some photos from the stage 2 group photo yesterday. Second, I will provide a sneak peak for our final day with the spectacular Shimanami Kaido; a series of suspension bridges that span the inland sea, and links Shikoku Island back to Honshu or mainland Japan. The last day of the tour may be the best so stay tuned for the final blog post from the 2019 Japan Samurai Epic.
